Welcome back everybody. I pray you all having a blessed day. In today's video, we're going to talk about how to invest as a faithful steward, especially with everything that's going on around the world right now. Markets are uncertain, interest rates are high, unemployment rate is high, and it can feel like the financial system is consistently shifting.

But as a believer, we are asked or called to approach investing differently, not with fear, but with faith, wisdom, and stewardship. So, in this video, I want to walk you through four key investment decisions that help me align my money with my values and reflect biblical principles. Hi, my name is Prince Chenou.

I'm a certified financial planner candidate working in private banking and financial planning. And my passion is helping faith-driven individuals and professionals and families to line their money with their values. Everything we talk about on this channel is about combining biblical principles, practical wisdom, and modern wealth building tools to create a life of impact and not just income.

So, if that's something that you value, let's jump right into it. So, the first investing decision that I'm very purposeful with is simple but powerful. It's simply that I stay invested. I stay that intentionally because one of the biggest challenges in today's world is emotional investing. Every week there's a new headline that can make you panic.

Interest rates are up. The economy is slowing down. AI is changing everything. A recession might be coming. And when that fear takes over, most people pull back right before the recovery. But here's what I've learned. Missing just a handful of the best days in the market could cut your performance in half. Those best days often come right after the worst ones.

That's why for me and for my family, stewarding or stewardship means staying consistent even when it's uncomfortable. I remind myself often that I'm not investing for the next quarter. I'm investing for the next 10 years or the next generation. That perspective keeps me grounded. So when the world is panicking, I stay consistent.

I keep contributing and I trust the process because faithful stewardship isn't reacting to every storm. is staying planted and trusting that growth takes time. Now, the second thing that I've learned as a fail investor is to focus on what you can control. It sounds simple, but it's one of the hardest things in practice.

I can't control what the stock market is going to do this week. I can't control inflation. I can't control who's going to win the next election. But here's what I can control. How much am I saving? How much am I investing? How much am I giving? How disciplined do I stay with the process?

When I put my energy towards controllables, I experience more peace and better results because stewardship isn't about predicting the future. It's about preparing faithfully in the present. So instead about worrying about what might happen in the future, I stay within my own lane, living within my means, building margin, and managing risk wisely.

And I find that once I do that consistently, I'm able to navigate uncertainty with confidence and peace. Not because of knowing what's coming, but because I trust the one who controls it all. Now, another big part of my rhythm as a steward is reviewing my financial plan. Every few months, I sit down with me and my wife and look down everything, my goals, our cash flow, our giving, our investing, and I ask myself, is it still aligned with where I believe God is leading us to go?

Because faithful stewardship isn't a one-time decision. It's an ongoing relationship. Life changes, market shifts, opportunity comes and goes. And just like your faith walk requires consistency and reflection, your financial walk does the same. So when I review my plan, I'm not just looking at the numbers. I want to make sure that my money is serving my mission, not the other way around.

And if I find areas of out of sync, I make small adjustments because sometimes stewardship isn't about doing more. It's about staying aligned and on track. The last but most important thing that I do is that I pray for wisdom. Before any major financial move, before I invest in something new, or even when I'm not sure what I'm doing, I take the time to pray.

James 1:5 says, "If any one of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generosity to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." That verse is something I hold very close to my heart. You can have the best research, the best strategy, the best timing, and still lack peace.

Wisdom is what gives peace. And wisdom comes from God. So before I make any big financial choices, I don't just ask, "Will this make me more money?" I ask, "Does this align with what God is teaching me right now?" That simple habit, pausing, praying, and listening has protected me more times than I can ever count.

Because faithful stewardship isn't about success. It's about surrendering. Now, when I think about what it means to invest as a faithful steward today, it's not about doing everything perfectly. It's about doing everything purposefully. It's about walking in wisdom, staying consistent, and managing what God has given to you with both diligence and discipline.

Here's a quick recap of the four things that I do as a faithful investor. One, I to stay invested even when fear tries to pull me out of the market. Two, I focus on what I can control and surrender the rest to God. Three, I review my plan regularly because stewardship requires maintenance.

And four, I pray for wisdom every step along the way. And at the end of the day, investing is more than just the numbers and the return. It's about trust. Trusting God to multiply what he has given you to manage. Trusting that he'll guide you along the way. and trusting that your financial life can be a reflection of your faith, a living testimony of your stewardship and obedience.

So, if you're walking that same walk or that same path, please stay faithful, stay patient, and keep showing up one decision at a time. Thank you all for watching. Please share this with somebody else who's also on that same walk. And I hope this video finds you well. Thank you so much and I hope you have a blessed
