Let's talk about the difference between being broke versus being poor. Because these two aren't the same thing. And I want to explain to you the difference. Being broke is a moment of time. It's temporary. It's a season. But being poor, that's more of a mindset. And if you're not careful, it becomes permanent.

My pastor talked about this this past weekend and it really had me thinking. I want to share it with you all. And it really stuck with me. He said that being broke is just a chapter. You can bounce back from being broke. Anybody can for that matter. Broke has an expiration date. But poor, being poor is what happens whenever you believe that there's no way out.

You believe that everything is completely stuck. When you stop seeing it as a moment and start seeing it as who you are, you embody that personality almost. And that's very dangerous. Here's what I want you to hear from what I'm saying today. You get to choose which state you want to be in.

No one chooses that for you, especially on a financial journey. You're not going to sort everything out from being at the top. You're going to sort it out from being exactly where you are right now. And the key is doing the next right thing that you can possibly do. You have to believe that it's a season.

Being broke is a moment in time. Pours a mindset for a lifetime if you let it be. Thank you. Thank you. And I pray you have a wonderful day.
